About
Shared hosting isn’t a new concept — it’s been around for a very long time. So long, in fact, that you can literally get it for a few dollars a month. The only problem of course is that you typically get what you pay for.
I’ve been around the block a few times with regards to shared hosting. The last round actually made me go out and buy my own server so that I wouldn’t have to deal with any hosting companies again. That’s not to say all hosting companies are bad, just that staring at a 404 page on the main page of your blog at 2am gets a bit old after a while.
At Hosting Heartbeat, we will present information about all the shared hosting options out there in the cloud, and provide real-world information from you guys. In the Heartbeat section we show the results of data that is continuously collection from hosting providers so that people can make informed decisions about web hosting companies.
We rely on feedback from users, so please feel free to drop us a line with any information about your hosting company, the service you are having, or if you just want to rant.
You can email us at rant@hostingheatbeat.com.
